Our Work

A Child’s Haven is one of the largest facilities in the Southeast dedicated to treating children with developmental delays or behavioral challenges. As a 501(c)(3) organization, they needed the support of volunteers and donors, but also a strong level of awareness in the community. Educating the public was just as important as reaching that family who might need their help.View Site

We quickly learned that the more we could use the website as a glimpse into the everyday work of A Child’s Haven, the better. Fictionalized stories are spread throughout the site, as are real images of children receiving care. One page even helps the website visitor take a virtual tour of what the organization offers, and the site as a whole invites a variety of actions that encourage the community as a whole to join in.

Langston Charter was one of the first schools in South Carolina to offer single-gender education. As a result, they knew they would be looked to as a resource by other schools around the country, and they wanted to embrace that role. They also wanted to educate parents and provide an easy place where students could enroll through a lottery.View Site

We worked hard to understand Langston's core values and to make those the backbone of the site. Prominent images of students and faculty simplified the school's mission and videos helped parents to quickly understand the school's uniqueness. Our Bulletin Board feature brought recent blog updates to the front page of the site and a custom donation page gave visitors a quick way to contribute and see fundraising progress at the same time.

As a new church plant with no walls, Grace Church needed a concrete way to show their mission and vision. They wanted to communicate creatively with both visitors and members, while keeping the same essential message for everyone. View Site

Since Alexandria residents relate to the brick design and texture of nearby historical buildings, we captured the city in our design. We integrated the church's social media streams to give visitors a sense of community and belonging. And we created icons with action to give immediate access to information without the need for searching.

As a ministry that needed to update both people on the island of Guam and supporters around the world, Harvest Ministries wanted a site that was dynamic, upbeat, and simple to use. Visitors to the site needed to be able to access a wealth of information without becoming confused. View Site

Using a highly visual approach to showcase recent events, we also made it easy to access information about a particular ministry. We created a Discover section for first-time visitors and upgraded events calendars so they were less cluttered and more intuitive. Using a strategic variety of presentation methods, we made it simple for visitors to access just the information they wanted.
